Salvation Army IS STILL NOT LGBT Friendly

In front of the local grocery store, on street corners , up and down busy avenues - ringing their bells and asking for donations to be dropped in their little red buckets. The Salvation Army.
And this is the holiday season - a time to care - a time to give. But with SO MANY LGBT friendly groups in need of donations, do we want to give the Salvation Army our money, even though it's for a good cause?
We need to remember that The Salvation Army is NOT an LGBT friendly organziation. John Aravosis over at Americablog has put together examples of how anti-LGBT they really are.
If you are planning on making financial donations this holiday season, there are plenty of local organizations that do support the LGBT community that would be more than happy for your donation. I support those, who support me.
Why give money to haters?
