Sensitif and Kiss In Against Homphobia
Unfortunately,
my French is no good.
But I ADORE SENSITIF from France. It's always loaded with very sic, hot male models and news and fabulous party pictures from France.
In this months issue they highlighta video called KISSES FOR CHRISTMAS - and show clips from a KISS IN help in France.
According to their Facebook page, Kiss-in Against Homophobia, "Why is it the only time you can see gays kissing in the street anywhere but in the gay Marais area, and at Gay Pride... why is it that straight people are able to bisoutes in public without bothering anyone? For those who think that this is not normal, go together for suicide attacks in kisses! "
This group is for everyone and all those who support the process of kiss-in against homophobia *, or people who simply find that it is a way cool / effective advocate ... and at the same time, a opportunity to meet and share the love in the style free hugs :-) Then it says, gay, straight, kiss you where you want!"

True - in many cities, gays are afraid to hold hands and/or kiss. And granted, in some cites, you would be attacked for such acts.
But in many cities, simply kissing your lover or holding hands might raise an ebrow, but certainly no one will stone you.
So I think the message is, we need to be more out-of-the-closet. And not just on Gay Pride day - and in gay areas. I know a couple who only kiss or hold hands when they are traveling in Key West or PTown!!
Show people we are normal, caring, loving human beings. We are not freaks. The other day, I kissed my partner in public, in Chicago. A straight couple actually commented how wonderful it was that we were so happy. And Congratulated us!
If you live in a closet and are scared....2010 is a new year. A new year to take a step out and be counted and be proud!
Big Kisses for everyone!
