Out Actor Model Trevor Wayne Pushing The Boundaries

I just discovered Trevor Wayne  recently.
We met through FaceBook
I knew his face, and body, almost immediately.

Due to his extreme look, he has landed numerous roles on television and excelled in the modeling world working with horror-legend Clive Barker, fashion photographer, Mario Testino, and famous portrait-specialist, Austin Young. He has modeled in photos alongside Willam Belli (Nip/Tuck), Kit Pistol (Project Runway (season 4)), Tom Lenk (Buffy the Vampire Slayer), Margaret Cho (comedian), and the New York City’s urban song-stylist, Cazwell. You can find his modeling in the books Down the Rabbit Hole by Justin Monroe , Shooting Male by Eric Schwabel, and the upcoming "Imagining Man" by Clive Barker.

Wayne’s unique origin of growing up on a blueberry farm in Michigan and nomadic transitions from Indiana, Illinois and eventually Chicago, has seasoned him with a bevy of life-experiences. While in Chicago, Wayne attended the American Academy of Art. After receiving an associates degree in graphic design, he moved to NYC and was quickly discovered as an actor/model. He currently lives and works in Hollywood, CA.

Trevor celebrates the best of his edgy nude modeling work with the release of a controversial photo mini-magazine titled Pin-Up Show.

Featuring a selection of provocative work by a veritable who’s who of photographers including Barker, Austin Young, Thai Tai, Kaeden Stone, and Van Darkholme, the self-published Pin-Up Show presents Wayne’s oeuvre in the context of an underground art zine and promises to extend the actor-model-artist’s tattooed legend even further. Warning: this magazine contains Full Frontal Nudity.

However, Nudity is NOT  the main focus of his life or career.

"I think art comes in all forms, and erotic art is really valid. It speaks to everyone’s base instincts."  says Trevor.

"I won’t put nudity on my site, however, because it tends to become the primary focus. I figured doing a little mini-mag would be a perfect way to show the work I’ve done with amazing photographers yet still keep it separate. I wanted to format it to be erotic but mostly fun and not taking itself too seriously."

"I think a sexy photo has a sense of intimacy and playfulness. It’s something that makes you look twice and almost haunts you. It’s not always explicit but has something extra going on in the photo."

Alongside acting and modeling, Trevor Wayne has  also established himself as a visual pop artist. Stop by his  site, TREVOR WAYNE.com  and see more of his art and photos.  Buy the Book or  a piece of his art !
There are a limited number of copies of remaining of the Pin Up Show!  GRAB ONE!

There is also a great interview in the Advocate .
