Into The Lions Den with Ronnie Kroell and Jesse Archer

“Into the Lion’s Den” is an incredible new thriller directed by Dan Lantz. The film has premiered in some cities already - And we had the chance to see it in Chicago this week at the Reeling Film Festival. .
The cast includes:Ronnie Kroell (Eating Out: Drama Camp, Bravo’s Make Me a Super Model), Jesse Archer (Four Letter Word, Violet Tendencies, Going Down in LA-LA Land), Kristen Alex Griffith, Jodi Shultz, and Michael McFadden.
This was Dan's first time doing a LGBT film and it is very well done. Though done on a shoestring budget, the film has a very high end look and feel.
Ronnie says, "Dan Lantz is a stand-up guy. If Dan says he is going to do it, well – he just does it. There are so many people in the industry that talk the talk, but Dan really walks the walk. Working on set with Dan and his team was a breath of fresh air really – so much positive and creative energy. He also knows how to surround himself with a great team in Adam Danoff, Matt Sundell, Steve Cameron, Leah Toscano, Mike Harvey, and Sherry Vitale. The coolest part about this movie for me is that in addition to acting, I also participated in the capacity of a Producer.
Jesse, Kristen, and myself all became very close on the set We all had so much fun laughing and poking fun at
one another, doing Liza impersonations, drinking Whipped Cream Vodka,
playing with toilets in the street, dildos, wigs, buffet food, fine art
appreciation, and so much more. I especially enjoyed getting to know our
co-stars Michael McFadden, Jodie Shultz, Jade Froeder, Laurence
Mullaney, and Jake Steel. A huge thank you and shout out to Philip
Malaczewski who wrote the screenplay – very talented man. And of course,
a HUGE thank you to “Breaking Glass Pictures” for all of their hard
work and support of this film. "
The storyline - Bored
with the West Hollywood gay scene, best friends Michael, Johnny and Ted
have embarked on a cross-country road trip from LA to New York City.
Though their friendship hits a few speed bumps along the way, the trio
decides to have one last hurrah during their last night on the road.
That’s when fate brings them to The Lion’s Den, a secluded backwoods bar
where not everything is as it seems. …
As the three
out-of-towners toast the end of their journey, someone at the bar is
watching them and setting a deadly trap. Now, as closing time draws
near, a night of unspeakable horrors is about to begin…it's a thriller that plunges into the depths of human
depravity. With its unpredictable plotline and raw performances, Into
the Lion’s Den is a twisted nightmare that viewers won’t soon forget.
