Thanks for the comment Steve - I really like your blog, by the way.

Marie is not REAL supportive of her daughter. She kind of talks out both sides of her mouth...trying to play both sides. Last year she said, " You know, I think each of us has the right to choose who makes that medical decision for us, I think everybody should have the right to share homes and finances with somebody that they care about. You know on those types of things I'm very supportive. When it comes to marriage, ... I think that civil rights need to be for all. When you start mixing religion into that and beliefs, you know, I do believe in the Bible. My daughter understands my beliefs. And, and, uh, you know, God said to be married and be productive with your children and, and, you know, replenish the earth or whatever. She understands those things. My daughter is sharp. And we have a great relationship and I think she would tell you that."

Both her and Donny, have publicly stated, they don't mind gay people. They think its a choice. And they don't mind if gay people live together. Both both agree that "gay marriage" is wrong. But Marie did say she thinks some kind of civil rights protection is OK.
It's just kind of wishy washy that Marie won't stand up to the church. Many parents become gay advocates when their children come out. The parents get angry and they help for the fight!

But anyways Steve, I thank you for comment. Conversation is good!

While it may be possible that Marie's son was gay, it's not the only reason kids suffer from depression. Let's face it being raised Mormon is enough to make any kid depressed. Besides, one of Marie's daughters came out last year and Marie was very publicly supportive. Speculating on whether or not her son was also gay and that this may have led to his suicide is engaging in the worst type of tabloid journalism. The kid isn't even buried yet.

Problem is, there's no evidence that the guy agreed - he could have just been killed by Gosling for some other reason with Gosling then claiming that he had an unwritten pact.

Can you allow a situation where you can kill someone and then claim you had a pact with them?

Sounds like a very scary senario to me.

(Otherwise, maybe it is this is just a fairy tale, as so far there's no evidence it even happened.)

Kudos to Charls for sure! I have no problem with gay porn or escorts for that matter. The point of the article was that the organization said that THEY did not want to be connected with the adult industry in any way, shape of form. That's a silly remark to mark, in my opinion. It's part of our culture.
